Hello! I’m —
Vladimir
Raevskiy,

Stand-up lecture by Vladimir Raevskiy in your city
I decided that just lectures were already a thing, so I came up with a historical stand-up. The history of Russia is not only tragedy and horror, but also comedy and farce. It’s just like in life
Here the tsar’s special service is responsibly engaged in birds, here Emperor Paul stumbles at a ball and forbids a waltz, here Ivan the Terrible weds to the English queen, receives a refusal and growls angrily in response, and here the governor-general, surrendering Moscow to Napoleon, himself goes to Paris for a permanent residence
We have already traveled to several cities – from Belgrade to Batumi, and now we want to come to you!
What city to hold a stand-up lecture in?

Journalism
Interviews
Throughout my career, I’ve conducted approximately a thousand interviews. Several hundred were for my own television program, “At Lunch”, while the rest were for publications such as Meduza, BURO, GQ, and Harper’s Bazaar.
Media Work
I continue to conduct interviews for Meduza, featuring conversations with notable figures such as John Malkovich, Barry Kosky, Eric Bulatov, and Vladimir Yurovsky
Raevskiy’s Moscow
Our team’s flagship pre-war project—documentary films where I explore the phenomena of our lives through the lens of the city’s history and culture. From Mona Lisa in Moscow 1974 and Le Corbusier in Moscow 1928 to the history of Moscow’s cats and sausages
Why am I doing it?
1
We live in an untold world: everything around us – palaces and garages, great canvases and old photographs, street cats and beer bottles – conceals stories directly linked to us and today
2
My primary skill is to unearth unknown facts and tell a story
3
Then, to find the right words and convey these stories simply, but not simplistically: on-screen, in text, voiced over, or from the stage
Films
I’ve been creating films for
television and the internet for a long time, and I do it
well. Check them out!

Events
I am not only a TV and radio presenter but also an
events host
Awards and Honors
I hosted the “Enlightener Prize” and Casta Diva awards, academic concerts, and private parties, performing in embassies and public squares
Auctions
I am skilled in conducting auctions and sustaining excitement; I hosted auctions for Phillips and Sample and know how to wield the auctioneer’s gavel
Talk Events
Anything involving discussions, negotiations, listening, or telling stories: public debates, forums, tours, and lectures – I know how to make it lively and engaging
Educational activities
I tell stories, and they help explore the world
Excursions and lectures
Come for tours – I’m preparing non-obvious material on exhibitions and permanent displays
Audio Guides
My Russian-language audio guide is for the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Belgium: exploring Bruegel, Rubens, and Van der Weyden. A person, not a robot or teacher, engages with the visitor. The visitor is spoken to by a human, not a robot or a teacher
Podcast
My first English-language podcast is in the process of launching
